Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Riverside, CA is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to orient and lead drivers, coordinate vehicle flow, and ensure timely employee transport for auctions and other duties.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED plus 3 years of related experience (or a related degree/certification or 5 years' experience). A valid driver's license is required and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
• OR a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years' experience in a related discipline.
• Safe driver's needed; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers on duties and direct work.
• Coordinate flow of vehicles and maintain stock logs for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
• Schedule and assign crew members and communicate with supervisor.
• Manage vans and transport drivers to locations; ensure timely pick-up and drop-off.
• Shuttle employees to parking lots on sale days and transport inventoried vehicles at remote sites.
• Pick-up and drop-off employees and auction personnel at various locations.
• Perform daily maintenance and fueling of vans; ensure safe operation of vehicles.
• Uphold safety procedures and support safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Lead the location team and enforce Cox/Manheim values and conduct policies.
• May be required to work overtime; perform other duties as assigned.
