Job summary

The McGrath Group is seeking a dependable automotive lot attendant in the Chicago area to maintain vehicle presentation, assist customers, and support the service department. You will clean interiors/exteriors, top up fluids, and ensure vehicles are displayed according to dealer standards.

Responsibilities include tagging inventory, driving vehicles as needed, and delivering cars between lots. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; weekend availability is encouraged as

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Place buyers guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, move vehicles as directed by the manager and display standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Create key tags and manage vehicle inventory.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary
• Place buyers guides and stock tags in vehicles
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving vehicles as directed by the manager and in accordance with dealer display standards
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
• Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to work flexible schedules and some weekends
• Positive and professional attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality, eagerness to improve
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Reliable transportation to and from work every day
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
