Job summary

Les Stanford Chevrolet and Cadillac in Dearborn, MI is hiring a Lot Attendant to maintain vehicle displays, prep cars for delivery, and keep the lot organized. You will handle cleaning, fueling, moving vehicles, and inventory tagging under the guidance of the general sales manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional attitude and ability to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle display by cleaning interior/exterior and replenishing fluids.
• Wash, fuel, and prepare vehicles for customer delivery.
• Stage vehicles for showroom displays, events, and promotions.
• Create key tags and manage vehicle inventory.
• Perform daily lot walks and inventory audits.
• Move cars as directed by the general sales manager and keep lots neat.
• Drive vehicles to service lanes, stalls and parking areas as needed.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles between locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and charging batteries when necessary.
• Remove snow, ice , debris, and trash from vehicle display areas and buildings as needed
• Wash, fuel, and prepare vehicles, as necessary, for customer delivery
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general sales manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Make key tags for and handle inventory of vehicles.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Stage vehicles for showroom displays, events, and promotions
• Conduct daily lot walks and inventory audits
• Perform other duties as assigned.
