Job summary

Karl Malone Motorsports of Colorado Springs is seeking a Lot Attendant/Porter to move vehicles, help the sales and service teams, and keep lots organized. You will drive forklifts, assist with prep, and support daily operations to ensure access to vehicles when needed.

Responsibilities

• Move and position vehicles to access service areas and display lots.
• Transport dealer trade vehicles between locations as needed.
• Maintain clean interiors/exteriors and replenish fluids when required.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and basic vehicle prep.
• Keep driveways and sidewalks clear of debris and snow.

Team Karl Malone is seeking a Lot Attendant/Porter. As a member of our team, you will be instrumental in moving vehicles throughout the dealership, driving forklifts, and keeping things organized and cleaned up! You’ll play a crucial role on our team by helping our sales, repair, and delivery teams be able to find and access vehicles when needed. Responsibilities

• Maintain new and used vehicle inventory appearance through detailed cleaning of the interior and exterior.
• Installs protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service
• Replenish vehicle fluids and replace batteries as necessary.
• Helps maintain shop cleanliness, including windows, doors, floors, etc.
• Transports dealer trade vehicles between dealerships
• Transports customers to and from their homes as needed
• Working with the General Sales Manager, keep new and used vehicle lots neat, orderly, and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Ensure all driveways and sidewalks are free from debris and snow.
• Move vehicles to and from service areas, overflow, and parking lot.Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license free from major infractions
• Ability to drive a manual transmission, smoothly
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
• Must be customer service oriented
• Must be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
• Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through
• Position requires continual standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the entire shift.
