Job summary

Bob Brown Buick GMC is a locally owned dealer serving Des Moines and central Iowa. The Lot Attendant/Porter helps move vehicles, keep the lot and vehicles clean, and assist with deliveries and related tasks. A high energy level and a valid driver’s license are important for this role.

The ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, be reliable, and committed to best-in-class customer service with flexible scheduling and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Flexible schedules and weekends required.
• Professional attitude and strong customer service.
• Automotive detailing experience preferred.
• Reliable, communicate effectively & punctual.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory appearance and vehicle cleanliness, replenish fluids, and replace batteries as needed.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep lots neat and orderly, move cars as directed by the general manager and display standards.
• Drive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Retrieve and deliver vehicles from property locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Lot Attendant/Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the sales area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles, fueling vehicles for delivery and any additional tasks assigned.
