Job summary

Opelika Ford is seeking an outgoing Lot Attendant/Porter to maintain the dealership lot in Opelika, AL. You will move vehicles, inspect for damage, and assist customers in pickup waits, ensuring vehicles are clean and displayed properly.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver’s license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills. Experience as a lot attendant or knowledge of automotive service is a plus; ability to work outdoors in heat

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles.
• Able to operate vehicles in tight and small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Moves vehicles to maintain flow of traffic
• Makes key tags for vehicles
• Retrieves vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle and thanking customers for their business
• Helps maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.)
• Follows all safety and security procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
