Job summary

Opelika CDJR in Opelika, AL is seeking a friendly Porter/Valet to greet customers, move vehicles, and keep lots neat. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a willingness to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a professional appearance, and strong customer service skills. Prior valet or automotive service knowledge is a plus, and you must be able to drive both automatic and manual

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Moves vehicles to maintain flow of traffic.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Retrieves vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle and thanking customers for their business.
• Helps maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.).
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
