Job summary

America’s Auto Auction (Kansas City) is hiring a Lot Attendant. Training provided; prior experience is a plus but not required. This role involves moving and organizing vehicles and supporting auction operations.

You will maintain inventory, assist with check-in and staging, and drive vehicles through lanes on sale days. Full-time or part-time options, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with no nights or weekends. Great for someone who is reliable and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Background check and drug screening are required.
• Prior experience with vehicles or outdoor labor is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, park, and organize vehicles.
• Maintain an organized and accurate vehicle inventory.
• Assist with vehicle check-in and staging.
• Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale days.
• Keep the auction lot clean, safe, and organized.
• Support auction operations and special projects as needed.

• Basic knowledge of vehicles, including the ability to identify makes and models, preferred.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record required.

• Prior experience working with vehicles or outdoor labor preferred but not required.
• Entry-level position with opportunity for advancement.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb, reach, bend, stoop, and get in and out of vehicles repeatedly.Ability to use hands to handle, tag, and move equipment and vehicle‑related items.
• Ability to drive a variety of makes and models of vehicles.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
