Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Lot Attendant in Capitol Heights, MD to oversee daily operations, assist drivers, and emphasize safety. The role includes keeping fleet clean, moving vehicles, and maintaining mileage records while supporting a safe, efficient route operation.

Transdev in Capitol Heights, Maryland is seeking a Lot Attendant to provide operational oversight, day-to-day management, and assist drivers in safe route operation. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
  • Move vehicles in building and lot, and deliver vehicles to locations and fuel & inspection stations

Physical Requirements
  • Intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, lifting of light and heavy objects, climbing ladders/stairs/ramps or scaffolding, and using tools and equipment that require a high degree of manual dexterity.
  • Required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk, hear, to reach with hands or arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and smell. Must be able to lay on back on a mechanic’s dolly to work underneath motor vehicle equipment.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
