Job summary

Lot Supervisor

Transdev in Houston, TX is hiring a Lot Supervisor. The Lot Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all vehicles are prepared for service. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $19.75/hour - maximum $24.50/hour

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.
• Supervise operator pre-trip inspections
• Assign vehicles to operators and update dispatchers to confirm information
• Assist with miscellaneous clerical tasks
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
