Job description

Urgent Hire! Pay based on experience! Part Time and Full Time Positions Available!

If you enjoy driving and have a strong need for organization, please apply for our Lot Attendant position. Pride Motor Group is seeking full-time and part-time Lot Attendants who will park vehicles in the new-vehicle lot in an orderly manner, verify receipt of the vehicles, and perform damage inspections on these new vehicles delivered to the dealership. This person will be responsible for keeping the lot and grounds orderly and may be requested to shuttle sales and service department customers to their desired destinations as needed. Must have three years of driving history with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  1. Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
  2. Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
  3. Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
  4. Parks new vehicles in assigned areas.
  5. Organizes all new/used/wholesale and sold units.
  6. Catalogs and stores keys.
  7. Assigns stock control numbers to cars.
  8. Tracks and maintains new car PDI’s and lot readiness.
  9. Assists sales with requests: swaps and placing inventory back after test drives.
  10. Clean and organize lot.
  11. Assists sales with lot by moving cars when needed.
  12. Organizes front and back lots maintaining open spaces for customers and employee parking.
  13. Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.
  14. Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
  15. Shuttles sales and service department customers to their desired destination.
  16. Maintains showroom – ensures that it is clean and water and snacks are available at all times.
  17. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Positive and professional attitude, can-do mentality, outgoing personality.
  2. Team player - willing to do whatever is needed to assist the sales/service departments.
  3. High school diploma or equivalent.
  4. Attention to detail and desire to keep the lot clean and neat.
  5. Basic computer skills.
  6. Reliable transportation to and from work.
  7. Strong organizational skills.
  8. Valid driver's license of 3 years or more with a clean driving record.
