Job summary

OneWater Marine is seeking a dependable Lot Associate in Buford, GA to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store lot housing boats, trailers, and equipment. You will support sales and service through careful staging and inventory readiness.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures. Previous marine industry experience is a plus, but not required; high school diploma and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep lot clean, organized, and safe for boats, trailers, and equipment.
• Safely move and transport boats and equipment as needed to support sales and customers.

• Assist in preparing boats for deliveries and receiving inventory.
• Assist customers on the lot with information and directions.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Duties (Most Important to Least Important)

• Assist with the organization and maintenance of the lot. Ensure all boats, trailers and other equipment are stored properly.
• Safely move and transport boats and equipment as needed to support sales, service, and customer needs.
• Conduct regular inspections of boats and equipment for damage or maintenance. Reports any issues to management.
• Assist in preparing boats for deliveries. Support in the receiving and unloading of new inventory.
• Demonstrates attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed.
• Follows all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the lot is safe for all employees and customers.
• Partners with other team members to ensure operational and customer needs are prioritized and met.
• Maintain knowledge, training, and certifications for equipment use.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Ability to operate forklifts, boats, and other equipment, or willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
