Job summary

OneWater Marine in Ohio seeks a Lead Lot Associate to organize and maintain the dealership lot and mentor a team of lot associates, ensuring efficient operations across the store.

You will coordinate day-to-day lot activities, move boats and trailers safely, support preparation and delivery with sales and service teams, and lead training with a focus on safety.

This role requires a high school diploma, valid license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment at our Ohio location.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive/marine training preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in dealership lot operations preferred.

Position Summary


The lead lot associate is responsible for the organization and maintenance of the dealership lot. As a leader, this individual will mentor a team of lot associates ensuring efficient operation of their respective OneWater Marine store.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


Duties (Most Important to Least Important)



  • Ensure the lot is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the dealership lot.

  • Monitor and assist in the movement and positioning of boats, trailers, and other vehicles. Ensure all vehicles and boats are in safe working conditions.

  • Works closely with the sales and service departments to ensure timely preparation and delivery of boats. Assist with customer deliveries as needed.

  • Guide a team of lot associates. Provide team with continuous learning and training as needed to ensure all safety protocols are followed.

  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the lot is safe for all employees and customers.

  • Ensure all operations on the lot are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure all equipment, such as forklifts, are being used safely.

  • Analyze operations and find ways to increase efficiency, sales and profitability of the dealership. Help maintain inventory on the lot.

  • Assist with customer questions. Build and maintain positive team member and customer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty and enhance dealer reputation.

  • Support in the execution of successful boat shows, store and off-site sales/customer events, including boat movement and setup.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

  • Basic understanding of marine products.


Qualifications / Requirements
