Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Westlake Warrior in Dallas, TX to manage late-stage collections. You will contact customers, negotiate payment plans, and use skip tracing to locate accounts while meeting daily goals.

The role offers base pay $20.50 per hour, plus monthly bonuses up to $6,800 and retention bonuses of $500 at 3 and 6 months. On-site, full-time with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong skip-tracing background to locate customers and collateral.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and written skills with a professional, goal-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with FDCPA and state/federal collection laws.
• Minimum 2 years in automotive finance, collections, repossession, and skip tracing.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and other office software.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via outbound and inbound calls to arrange payment solutions and bring accounts to resolution.
• Negotiate payment plans based on customer circumstances while meeting daily and monthly performance goals.
• Conduct extensive skip tracing to locate customers, vehicles, or potential leads.
• Maintain accurate records of account activity, updates, and vehicle recovery progress.
• Collaborate with team members to support department goals and share information on active cases.
• Handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Ensure confidentiality of all company operations, customer information, and technology systems.

• Tiered Retention Bonus:
  • Receive $500 upon completion of 3 months from the start date.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with solid attention to detail.
• Driven to meet goals and motivated to grow within the department.
• Thorough understanding of state and federal collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive finance industry, with knowledge of collections, repossession, and skip tracing.
• Ability to assess and value collateral accurately.
• Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other office software.
• Comfortable using web-based applications and online skip-tracing tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
