Role Description

The Loss Prevention Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA, responsible for helping protect company assets and ensure a safe environment for customers and associates. This role oversees daily loss prevention activities, including monitoring store operations, supervising security procedures, and coordinating physical security measures such as CCTV and access controls. The Loss Prevention Supervisor conducts investigations into theft, fraud, and policy violations, collaborates with store leadership on inventory control practices, and supports audits and compliance checks.

Day-to-day responsibilities include training and coaching team members on loss prevention policies, documenting incidents, preparing reports, and maintaining strong communication with management and regional loss prevention teams. The supervisor also partners with store leaders to promote safety awareness, uphold company standards, and support an engaging shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Retail Loss Prevention and Investigation to effectively identify, analyze, and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and policy violations.
• Candidates should possess skills in Physical Security and Inventory Control to manage store security systems, safeguard merchandise, and support accurate stock management.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with store leadership, coach associates, document findings, and interact professionally with customers and external partners.
• Experience supervising or leading teams in a retail or security environment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of loss prevention best practices, safety regulations, and basic investigative techniques is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Pittsburgh, PA, with flexibility for retail schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in criminal justice, security management, or related fields is a plus.
• Proficiency with incident reporting tools, video surveillance systems, and basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets) is advantageous.
