Ashley Furniture Industries is hiring a Loss Prevention Specialist for the 1st Shift (Mon-Tue and every other Fri-Sun, 5:30am–5:30pm) at our Advance, NC site. The role is safety sensitive and focuses on safeguarding people, products, and operations within a large industrial environment.

You will coordinate safety training, write incident reports, and conduct loss prevention activities. The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, 1–2 years in safety/security, and a valid

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice/Business OR equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years in Safety, Security, or Loss Prevention.
• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Safety-first attitude with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guard Post at front gate.
• Enforce safety policies to protect the team.
• Document and resolve security incidents.
• Verify credentials and manage site entry.
• Improve safety processes and procedures.
• Collaborate on accident prevention initiatives.
• Provide escort services as needed.
• Follow emergency procedures during incidents.
