Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), a specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), a coffee shop (Park Grounds), and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Guests can enjoy Mokara Spa, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) with a fire pit, outdoor lawn, and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 20,000 square foot ballroom, a 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space overlooking the park.

Job Description

An exciting opportunity to be a vital part of the Omni Convention Collection Hotel. The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is a true outdoor recreation, entertainment, and culinary destination, honoring the heritage and modern progress of the city. With 605 guest rooms and suites, the hotel offers views of Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline, along with 75,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a sports bar, a specialty restaurant, a coffee shop, and a retail venue.

The overnight Loss Prevention Officer's role is to ensure the safety of hotel guests and staff, and to maintain the property in a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Visit all locations requiring special attention as needed.
• Perform security patrols and lockdowns of areas including restaurants, lobby, associate entrances, meeting spaces, parking areas, guest floors, executive offices, and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with housekeeping calls.
• Retrieve breakfast menus from guestroom doors.
• Respond immediately to emergency incidents and security requests.
• Ensure the safety of guests, staff, and hotel property at all times.
• Be courteous, tactful, helpful, but firm in enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
• Report in writing on all activities during each shift and communicate emergency notifications as per security procedures.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director or Supervisor of Loss Prevention.
• Maintain high standards of security, professionalism in attitude, appearance, and application.
• Monitor staff entering and leaving the hotel, collect package passes, and inspect parcels.
• Monitor the back entrance and receiving dock.
• Confiscate unauthorized parcels and notify relevant departments.
• Check all personnel entering the hotel, verify identification, and grant permission for non-staff personnel with proper authorization.
