Job summary

Scheels All Sports in Wichita, KS is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate who will help protect assets, deter theft, and support store safety. The role is part-time, requiring availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will monitor cameras, assist in investigations, maintain reports, and cooperate with local authorities as needed. Strong communication and reliable teamwork are essential; prior loss prevention experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential.
• Prior loss prevention experience (2–3 years) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with leadership regarding encounters and investigations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other retailers to identify threats.
• Observe customers and associates for potential acts of theft or fraud.
• Maintain CCTV and prepare objective incident reports in a timely manner.
• Assist in monitoring store compliance with theft deterrence policies and procedures.
• Conduct floor and exterior walks to ensure safety and security.
