Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Dayton is seeking a Loss Prevention security associate. You will monitor badges, entry/exit, and visitors, protect assets, respond to emergencies, and conduct safety and security audits.

You’ll support investigations and ensure policy compliance while maintaining a safe work environment for all associates. Applicants with 1–2 years in security or loss prevention and a Criminal Justice background are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of security and/or Loss Prevention experience.
• Background in Criminal Justice or related field.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
• Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect the Company's assets including associates, merchandise and property.
• Monitor ID badges, entry/exit for facility and warehouse personnel.
• Monitor visitors, vendors and contractors entry/exit.
• Maintain safety and security by enforcing policies and procedures; respond to emergencies.
• Conduct safety, security audits and investigations; report findings.
• Support evacuations as necessary and ensure 0% security breakdowns.
