Job summary

Allied Universal in Spokane Valley, WA is hiring a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft and protect store assets. The role focuses on observing customer activity, identifying discrepancies, and following company policy to apprehend shoplifters when appropriate.

Qualified candidates will have strong communication, background screening readiness, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between nearby locations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensing requirements may be required
• Previous Law Enforcement or Military preferred
• Background investigation and drug screen required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License for driving positions

Responsibilities

• Detect and apprehend shoplifters following company policy
• Perform surveillance on the sales floor with customer interaction
• Travel to store locations within 25 miles of home
• Work retail store hours including evenings and weekends
