National Beef Leathers of St. Joseph, Missouri seeks a Loss Prevention Officer to maintain a safe, secure workplace and protect company assets. The role offers a starting wage of $18.50 per hour with a $0.50 hourly raise after 90 days, and family-friendly benefits.

Schedules rotate every four weeks, with full shifts Mon-Tue-Wed and Fri-Sun and half shifts on Thursdays. On-site position, safety-sensitive, requiring reliable, professional personnel.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, control, and document vehicular traffic
• Secure premises by patrolling and monitoring plant assets
• Control access and safeguard employees and customers
• Inspect vehicles, bags, and lunch boxes
• Monitor access points and complete timely reports
• Record observations and surveillance activities
• Prevent loss of company property by maintaining a visible presence
• Investigate incidents of irregularity and contribute to team effort
• Protect product, equipment, and tools from leaving property
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies
• Other duties as assigned

Starting wage for these positions is $18.50per hour with an increase of $.50 per hour after 90 days! Our schedules rotate every four weeks between the following:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – full shift; Thursday – half shift

Friday, Saturday, Sunday – full shift; Thursday – half shift

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Loss Prevention Officer position include but are not limited to:

• Monitor, control, and document vehicular traffic
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and customers by controlling access along with monitoring the plant premises, assets and personnel
• Secure premises by patrolling property
• Inspect Vehicles
• Inspect bags, lunch boxes
• Monitor controlled access points
• Complete required reports in a timely manner
• Record observations, occurrences and surveillance activities
• Prevent loss/damage to company property by providing a uniformed presence
• Investigate incidents of irregularity
• Contribute to a team effort
• Protecting product, equipment and tools from leaving property
• Preventing weapons, alcohol and drugs from entering property
• Other duties as assigned

This is an on-site position. This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates for the Loss Prevention Officer position should have the following:

• Surveillance Skills (CCTV)
• Strong, Ethical Character
• Dependable
• Ability to be objective
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism
• Good people/conflict resolution skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Exemplary performance and attendance record at previous employment
• Bilingual is a plus
• Must be available to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays
• Light lifting ability, objectivity, dependability, integrity, safe, professional, and reporting skills are a plus

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
