Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Denver is seeking a Loss Prevention Lead to deter theft, protect assets and support store operations. You will model customer engagement, monitor activity on the floor and in back rooms, and coordinate with local authorities on after‑the‑fact cases.

This role requires 1–3 years of LP experience or related education, and involves conducting MES sweeps, safety checks, and coaching teammates on loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of prior LP or related education in Loss Prevention preferred.
• Experience deterring theft and monitoring store activity in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate losses by deterring external theft and executing LP programs.
• Model customer engagement to detect and deter shoplifters and assist customers.
• Assist in investigations and promote awareness of theft and operational controls.
• Monitor compliance with safety, controls and MES execution.
• Complete incident reports in LPMS and coordinate with authorities.
