Job summary

Burlington Stores in New London, CT is seeking a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help reduce theft and safeguard assets while delivering friendly customer service. You will greet customers, monitor entrances/exits, and report incidents to the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain focus on reducing theft and creating a secure shopping environment.
• Greet customers with a warm, confident, and energetic greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
