Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to prevent loss and safeguard people and property in our store environment. You will use surveillance, reports, and on‑site observations to identify theft, fraud, and safety risks, and to document incidents with clear case reports.

You will preserve evidence, coordinate with local law enforcement as needed, and communicate findings to store leadership while upholding integrity and compliance with safety programs and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Prevents loss due to theft and fraud and supports safety and environmental program compliance in the store.
• Reviews CCTV and exception reports, monitors physical security, and audits Electronic Article Surveillance to shrink loss.
• Prepares accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserves evidence, and interacts with law enforcement as needed.
