Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to prevent loss and support safety and environmental program compliance in the assigned store(s). You will identify incidents of theft and fraud, review CCTV and exception reports, and monitor store security to drive shrink elimination.

You will prepare detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement, and testify in court when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, interact with law enforcement.
• Testify in criminal and civil court actions when required.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and uphold integrity at all times.
• Support asset protection and store objectives while ensuring safety of associates, vendors, and customers.
