Loss Control - Key Accounts Construction Service Consultant

Responsibilities

1. Develop and coordinate construction-related risk mitigation plans.
2. Conduct jobsite visits and consultative assessments.
3. Provide updates on risk mitigation progress.
4. Maintain positive relationships with insureds and agencies.
5. Create detailed risk assessment reports within the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct qualitative risk assessments in construction.
• Professional designations related to construction or safety.
• Familiarity with risk transfer subcontract agreements.
• Remote work capability with regional travel (~30%).
• Knowledge of construction hazards and mitigation strategies.
• Experience managing safety training and inspections.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
• Data analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Continuing education pursuits and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred but Not Required

• Loss control experience in property & casualty insurance.
• Knowledge of the independent agency system.
• Insurance risk management designations (CSP, CPCU, ARM).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction, or related experience.
• 4-5 years in the construction industry.
