Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct loss control surveys at client locations to determine potential hazards and risk factors
  • Prepare and deliver thorough written reports with recommendations after completion of loss control surveys
  • Consult with clients on ways to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses
  • Work aggressively with clients to implement recommendations.
  • Develop, implement and conduct safety training programs at client facilities, safety conferences or seminars
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with clients and carriers
  • Conduct research for clients on OSHA related issues or any other technical subjects requiring similar analysis
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory, environment, and emerging safety practices.
  • Analyze loss data to identify root loss causes and develop appropriate control recommendations.
  • Communicate relevant loss information to the Client, Producer/Account Executive, Claims Management concerning trends and patterns observed based on the actual loss experience.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Work Experience

  • At least 5+ years of Loss Prevention and Control. Certification by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) is preferred

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of commercial property/casualty coverage
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external clients with varied levels of technical knowledge
  • Ability to meet set deadlines and work under time pressures.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize heavy workload.
  • Technically proficient in Windows based computer environment

Physical Demands

  • Extensive keyboard and telephone usage.
  • May require lifting up to 25 pounds.

Additional Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant disposition required at all times.
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications,
professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are
eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on
your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer
