The pay range for this position is $84,000 - $145,000 annually. The pay is determined based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on performance.

We seek a Construction Service Consultant responsible for service duties across multiple states. You will provide technical consultation and evaluation to underwriting for selecting new and renewal construction commercial multi-line insurance (including Workers Compensation, Property, GL, & Auto). You will assist in risk evaluation, data analysis, trend identification, and report preparation. Your construction and casualty experience will support risk management and loss control services to minimize exposure. You will also ensure regulatory compliance, develop mitigation programs, and support policyholders.

This role manages loss control services for large, complex, or key accounts. It is a remote, home-based position with periodic travel to business meetings and our Ohio headquarters.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Develop and coordinate service plans for key accounts
2. Manage loss control services for these accounts
3. Conduct risk evaluations and prepare reports for underwriting
4. Develop and implement loss reduction strategies
5. Maintain relationships with clients and partners
6. Ensure timely and tailored service delivery
7. Review claims and loss trends for mitigation

Required qualifications:

• Experience managing large and complex accounts
• Risk management assessment skills
• Understanding of the independent agency system
• Ability to work remotely with travel flexibility (~25%)
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products and hazard recognition
• Training and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Continuing education pursuit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Educational and experiential background:

• Degree in engineering, science, or related field
• Designations such as CSP, CPCU, or ARM preferred
• 8-10 years loss control experience in property & casualty insurance
