Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 4–7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience.
• Significant experience handling wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters, including state and federal courts.
• Strong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within teams.
• Comfortable with AI-driven technologies to boost efficiency and client service.
• Prior large or sophisticated law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation matters.
• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings.
• Participate in discovery, including depositions, document review, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlement documentation.
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs.

Our client, a leading management-side labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Los Anglesoffice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced associate to work on sophisticated employment matters for a diverse client base, including complex wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation. • Competitive Salary Range: $275,000 – $330,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses
