The Los Angeles CCU hospitalist role at SCPMG in Los Angeles seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist for overnight cross-coverage of the CCU (approx. 20–32 patients), with exposure to heart failure, ACS, and post-PCI care.

Responsibilities include admitting only direct transfers (0–3 per night), collaborating with ED-handoff teams, and performing procedures such as central and arterial line placements.

Formación

• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Overnight cross-coverage of the CCU (roughly 20–32 patients) including heart failure/ACS/post-PCI care.
• Admit only direct transfers from other hospitals (0–3 patients/night).
• Handle ED admissions with hospitalist/resident team before CCU handoff.
• Place central lines and arterial lines.
