Job summary

Grace Federal Solutions is seeking a CCU RN for a traveler assignment in South Carolina (Columbia). The role focuses on providing intensive care for patients with serious heart conditions, monitoring closely, administering critical medications, and responding quickly to changes.

The nurse will operate specialized equipment, coordinate with healthcare teams, and support patients and families during high-risk situations.

Qualifications

• Two years of ICU/CCU experience required.
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• EPIC Charting System experience preferred.
• Strong cardiac ICU experience (CCU/CVICU) required.
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; post-cardiac surgery care; pre/post catheter/intervention care; IV therapy and respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care to patients with serious heart conditions and monitor status closely.
• Administer critical medications and operate specialized equipment.
• Respond quickly to changes and assist in emergencies such as cardiac arrest.

Role Overview

This role involves providing intensive care to patients with serious heart conditions, such as heart attacks and cardiac complications, by closely monitoring their status and responding quickly to changes. It also involves administering critical medications, operating specialized equipment, and assisting in emergencies like cardiac arrest. The role also involves coordinating with healthcare teams and supporting patients and their families during high-risk situations.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions.
• Certificates Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• EPIC Charting System Experience preferred.
• Strong cardiac ICU experience - CCU or CVICU required.
• Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias / Management of dysrhythmias / Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR) / Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention / Sheath Removal / IV therapy / Respiratory/Thoracic / CVA/Acute Stroke management /

Schedule

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Float: Required - ICUS and Card Telemetry
Call: Required - Stand by no call pay
Weekend Coverage: Every other
