Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking an accomplished Senior iOS Engineer to join our Irvine, CA team supporting LoopNet’s web applications that touch millions of users. You’ll continually learn and apply emerging technologies to improve our software products, with a 4 days onsite / 1 day remote work schedule.

You will work in a fast-paced environment to develop scalable iOS apps, collaborate across teams, and contribute to a robust technology platform that powers real estate insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in developing iOS applications.
• Expert in Objective C, SwiftUI/Swift, Cocoa Framework, XCode IDE, Interface Builder.
• Familiarity with common OO programming and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection).

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS applications that scale to reach millions of users.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen our platform and practices.
• Collaborate to create UI layouts and interfaces to backend services.
• Design reusable, maintainable systems and libraries.

Our team is seeking an accomplished Senior iOS Engineer to join our team in supporting the supporting www.loopnet.com. You will have a direct impact on highly visible Loopnet web applications that touch millions of users. You continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply the learnings to improve Loopnets’ software products.

This position is located in Irvine, CA and offers a schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

• You will develop iOS applications that scale to reach millions of users
• You will continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices
• Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services
• Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable
• Understand CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks and come to the table with your ideas
• Collaborate with different teams along with other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• 5+ years’ experience in developing iOS applications
• You are an expert in everything iOS - Objective C, SwiftUI/Swift, Cocoa Framework, XCode IDE, Interface Builder and are always interested in learning more and sharing your skills
• You know all the common Object Oriented Programming and design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection and more.
