Job summary

CoStar Group, a leading real estate information provider, is seeking an accomplished iOS Engineer to support LoopNet and related web applications in Irvine, CA. The role offers a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) and the opportunity to impact highly visible iOS-based experiences used by millions of users.

You will work with Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, and Cocoa frameworks, staying current with new technologies and best practices to strengthen our platform and development processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
• 3+ years of iOS development experience.
• Expert in iOS technologies: Objective-C, Swift/SwiftUI, Cocoa frameworks, Xcode, Interface Builder.
• Knowledge of common OO patterns and architectures: MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS applications that scale to millions of users.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen CoStar’s platform and practices.
• Create user interfaces and integrate with backend web services.
• Build reusable, maintainable systems and libraries.

Our team is seeking an accomplished iOS Engineer to join our team in supporting the supporting www.loopnet.com. You will have a direct impact on highly visible Loopnet web applications that touch millions of users. You continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply the learnings to improve Loopnets’ software products.

This position is located in Irvine, CA and offers a schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

• You will develop iOS applications that scale to reach millions of users
• You will continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices
• Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services
• Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable
• Understand CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks and come to the table with your ideas
• Collaborate with different teams along with other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• 3+ years’ experience in developing iOS applications
• You are an expert in everything iOS - Objective C, SwiftUI/Swift, Cocoa Framework, XCode IDE, Interface Builder and are always interested in learning more and sharing your skills
• You know all the common Object Oriented Programming and design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection and more.

This position offers a base salary range of $128,000-$163,500 , based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
