Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Loom Fixer (Direct Hire) for Fountain Inn, SC. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with a schedule requiring availability Monday through Sunday as needed.

The role involves diagnosing loom stoppages, repairing gears and belts, and performing preventive maintenance while ensuring quality per blueprints. Prior manufacturing/maintenance background and or textile experience are valued, with opportunities to grow within a hands-on team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in mechanical, maintenance, industrial or manufacturing roles.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Weaving or textile industry experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated job stability in previous positions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair loom stoppages and equipment malfunctions.
• Replace or repair gears, harness drives, belts, and other machine components.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of assigned equipment.
• Set up, calibrate, and adjust loom settings including tension, timing, pick gears, and reeds.
• Inspect woven materials for defects and make machine adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Follow production specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate setup and operation.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements
