Job summary

Staffmark seeks a Loom Fixer in Fountain Inn, SC, on a direct-hire basis. The role requires diagnosing loom issues, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining production quality while supporting safe manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical, maintenance, industrial, manufacturing, or related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Weaving or textile industry experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing training beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair loom stoppages and equipment malfunctions
  • Replace or repair gears, harness drives, belts, and other machine components
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of assigned equipment
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust loom settings including tension, timing, pick gears, and reeds
  • Inspect woven materials for defects and make machine adjustments to maintain quality standards
  • Follow production specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate setup and operation

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

Job Duties

  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
