Maumee Valley Country Day School seeks a long‑term substitute for 6th grade, teaching language arts and social studies. The position runs from November 23, 2026 through March 12, 2027, with orientation provided beforehand, in the Toledo area.
The candidate will deliver differentiated instruction and collaborate with faculty to plan rigorous reading and writing curricula. Required is a teaching credential in education with several years of relevant experience; a master’s degree is preferred.

Must be willing and able to secure an Ohio Permanent Non‑Tax certificate, Substitute Multi‑Age PK‑12 License, or professional teaching license. The school will support you in obtaining this once hired. However, it must be secured within the first six months of employment for compliance purposes.
