Job Title: Long-Term Substitute Teacher (Grades 1-2)

We are seeking a Long Term Substitute Teacher for first and second grade Math and Science to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging instruction, create a positive learning environment, and maintain continuity in the curriculum during the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily instruction for students in grades 1/2 Math and Science.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Offer differentiated support for students with different learning needs.

Communicate regularly with students, colleagues, and parents.

Ensure a safe, organized, and engaging classroom setting.

Supervise students during lunch and recess.

Follow school policies and procedures.

Attend staff meetings and participate in required professional development.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

Experience teaching elementary-aged students (preferred).

Comfortable using technology for teaching and communication.

Valid ODE teaching certification or Substitute License.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
