About the Role
Seeking a full‑time speech and language pathologist to serve as a long‑term substitute. The position will begin around April 24, 2025 and continue through the end of the school year (June 30, 2026). A per diem rate of $283.78 (based on BA Step 1 of the Teacher’s Salary Schedule) will be paid, and a single medical benefit will be offered. There is opportunity for the position to continue through the 2026‑2027 school year. The district will consider contracted service providers.
Qualifications
- Current license and certification through the NH Office of Professional Licensure and Certification
- M.Ed. in Speech‑Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Communications Disorders
- Preference for candidates with experience working in educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience evaluating students for speech and language impairments/disorders
- Familiarity with and training in evidence‑based speech therapy techniques and tools
- Basic understanding of child development and communication sciences
- Proficiency in using therapy and office‑related software
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
