Job summary

Mt. Lebanon School District seeks a Long Term Substitute School Support Nurse/Clerk for Mt. Lebanon High School. The role includes clerical support for the health office and health services, medical assistance to staff and students, first aid, medication distribution, and routine screenings.

The assignment is full-time, on-site, temporary, with a 7.5-hour day and a 30-minute unpaid lunch, expected 10/13/26–03/05/27. Eligible candidates must meet PA RN/LPN licensure and CPR requirements.

Qualifications

• Active PA licensed RN or LPN.
• Active CPR Certification.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Operational knowledge of computers, mobile and hand-held devices, and medical office equipment.
• Pediatric and/or medical surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical assistance to support the health office operations.
• Provide medical assistance to staff and students, including first aid and medication distribution.
• Conduct routine health screenings as needed.
• Perform duties of dental clerk during school dental examinations.

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of Long Term SubstituteSchool Support Nurse/Clerk at Mt. Lebanon High School.
The school support nurse/clerk provides clerical assistance to support the operations of the high school health office and health services department, provides medical assistance to staff and students, including first aid, medication distribution, and routine screenings, and performs duties of dental clerk during school dental examinations.

This is a full-time, on-site, temporary position working7.5 hours per day (plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch) Monday through Friday.

The dates of the assignment are to be determined, but currently anticipated to be 10/13/26 through 03/05/27.

Qualifications:

• Active PA licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Active CPR Certification
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Operational knowledge of relevant technologies, including computers, mobile and hand-held devices, and medical office equipment
• Pediatric and/or medical surgical nursing experience preferred

Rates based on credential:

• RN$18.27per hour ($137 daily rate)
• LPN$17.27per hour ($129 daily rate)

There are no benefits or paid time off associated with this substitute placement.
