Job summary

Regional School Unit 24 in the district is seeking a long-term substitute Registered Nurse to support elementary schools starting mid-February through the end of the school year.

The RN will provide health assessments, screenings, planning, intervention, evaluation, counseling, management and referrals to address student health needs, reduce illness-related absences, and foster a healthy school climate.

Qualifications include pediatric experience and CPR certification; RN license in state.

RSU #24 is looking for a long term substitute Registered Nurse to work at our e lementary schools beginning mid-February until the end of the school year .The successful candidate will provide assessment, screening, planning, intervention, evaluation, counseling, management and/or referrals concerning the health and medical care needs of students for the purpose of minimizing absences due to illness, maximizing educational opportunities, and creating a healthy school climate.

Qualifications Profile: .

• Successful experiences working with the pediatric population, preferably in a community or school setting desirable.

License or Certificate:

• Registered professional nurse, designated as R.N. as defined and determined by state law, and currently licensed in the state.
• Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
