Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license and a Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC).

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years professional nursing experience.
• Manage school clinic visits, intervene with actual and potential health problems, and assist with decision‑making.
• Manage and support chronic health conditions
• Dispense and monitor physician ordered medications and/or treatments.
• Manage and use equipment and supplies ordered by a health care provider for everyday or extended use in the school setting.
• Provide and/or appropriately delegate health care procedures.
• Establish and maintain professional communication with all stakeholders which is ongoing, timely, and respectful with consideration given to professional confidentiality
• Maintain individual student health records adhering to documentation standards.
• Create a caring, trusting, personal climate conducive to learning.

Requirements

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

Pay for this position is designated at $297.90 per full day and $148.95 per half day.
