Job summary

Zion-Benton Township High School District 126 is seeking a Long Term Substitute Registered Nurse for SY2026-27 at Zion-Benton Township High School. You will provide temporary health coverage when the regular nurse is absent and respond to emergencies for staff and students.

Must hold an active Illinois RN license and CPR/AED certification. The role pays $175 per day and reports to the Executive Director of Student & Specialized Services at the district office.

Responsibilities: Provide temporary health and medical coverage at Zion-Benton Township High School while the nurse is absent. Treat injuries, manage sudden illnesses and respond to medical emergencies from staff and students. Keep track of student health plans, immunizations and office visits.

Qualifications: Must possess or hold an active unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinoi. Complete basis life support training (CPR and AED certification).
