Physical Demands:

• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Standing approximately 30-35% and for periods of up to 30 minutes required. Walking approximately 30-35% for periods of up to 15 minutes. Sitting 30-40%. Teacher discretion is used to determine when to sit, stand, and walk as appropriate.
• May need to sit on the floor for assignments in the Early Childhood and K-2 setting.
• May need to navigate uneven surfaces for some assignments.
• May need to be outside at times.
• May need to work with materials such as paint, clay, glue, crayons, etc. for some assignments.

Salary: $285.64 per diem in Accordance with the Gower Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement
Position Available: Anticipated 1/05/2027 through 3/10/2027
