Job Description

Westbrook High School is seeking a creative, engaging and energetic English teacher to join our English department in a long term substitute teaching role. Courses will include 10th grade English, Discussion & Debate and Public Speaking. The ideal candidate will have a Maine D.O.E 100 certification. The ideal candidate will have experience as a 9-12 English teacher, a willingness to collaborate and share best practices with colleagues, and be skilled at working with all students.

Westbrook High School is proud to serve the City of Westbrook. Our learners represent 27 different countries of origin and speak over 15 languages other than English.
