The position runs from October 23, 2026 through January 11, 2027, with hours 8 per day, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and salary per teacher/licensed staff contract. The role includes direct and consultative services and collaboration with district teams.

Qualifications

• Minnesota Dept. of Ed license in Physical and Health Disabilities preferred, or DCD license.
• Knowledge of assistive technology tools that provide access to curriculum and communication.
• Strong communication with parents and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle frequent bending.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative educational services to students with physical and health disabilities in K–12 settings.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans per due process and district procedures.
• Collaborate with local district educational teams to implement student programs.
• Comply with School Board policies and Special Education handbooks.
