Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and supervise students.
• Provide individual and small-group instruction and reinforce material.
• Help maintain classroom order and student behavior.
• Prepare instructional materials and read to students.
• Plan daily and long-range lessons and classroom activities.
• Escort and assist children as needed.
• Check student work for adherence to teacher instructions.
• Maintain student records and manage educational displays.
• Monitor safety and enforce school policies.
• Perform general office tasks as required (photocopying, filing, phones).
• Select and check out library materials for teacher use.
