Strath Haven Middle School in Nether Providence Township, PA, seeks a Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher to plan, prepare, and deliver instruction tailored to identified student needs. Under supervision, you will collaborate with the principal and staff to support students in multiple environments.

The ideal candidate will hold a PA Special Education certificate (PK-12 preferred or SPED K-8), have strong communication skills, and be able to provide inclusive, supportive instruction.

Formación

• Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Pennsylvania Special Education certificate PK-12 (preferred) or Special Ed K-8.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction to students based on identified needs.
• Differentiate instruction using appropriate pedagogical practices and instructional technology.
• Observe and evaluate student performance and progress to improve outcomes.
• Serve as case manager; facilitate IEP meetings; coordinate communication with families and staff.
• Coordinate daily communication with general education teachers, classroom staff, consultants and service providers.
