Pocahontas County Schools is seeking a Long-term Substitute Special Education Teacher at Green Bank Elementary-Middle School. The assignment runs for 200 days beginning the 2026-2027 school year, terminating when a regular teacher returns or the year ends.

Formación

• Must hold proper endorsement in Special Education per WV certification requirements.
• Approved substitute teacher for Pocahontas County Schools.
• Criminal background check as required by WV Code.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements standards-based instruction aligned with state standards.
• Creates and maintains IEPs for assigned students and serves as Case Manager.
• Collaborates with families, general education teachers, and related services to meet student needs.
• Maintains a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Performs duties consistent with professional educator standards and district policies.
