Aspen Community School in Woody Creek, Colorado seeks a Long-Term Substitute Spanish Teacher to support K-8 students four days a week (Mon-Thu) for the 2026-2027 year. The position reports to the ACS Principal and runs Nov 30, 2026 through Jan 19, 2027, approximately 20 days, with compensation of $6,500 to $6,800 DOE.

The role requires delivering engaging Spanish instruction, fostering a safe learning environment, and collaborating with families and staff while following COMPASS and Colorado

Qualifications

• Command of the Spanish language preferred, not required.
• BA or BS preferred, not required.
• Current Colorado Teaching License preferred, not required.
• Experience instructing students with varied learning styles and levels of mastery.

Responsibilities

• Builds positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Delivers instruction that supports listening, reading, writing, and speaking in Spanish.
