Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational, youth development, social work, counseling, or related settings preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; background in education, psychology, social work, or related field is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively within a school-based team.

Responsibilities

• Teach SEL lessons to students using school-provided curriculum and lesson plans.
• Build positive relationships with students through daily check-ins and problem-solving support.
• Support students’ behavioral, social, and emotional success under administrative direction.
• Assist with school culture initiatives, student wellness activities, and events promoting belonging.
• Support 8th grade transition activities with registration information and meetings.
